This year, BT’s second annual Halloween dance — hosted by Student Council and the PPO — featured fun additions to last year’s dance, including games and photo booths. The dance, despite being held on a Monday, boasted an attendance of over 200 students, many of whom were dressed in cool and creative costumes. Of particular note were costumes from the Princess Diaries, Subway Surfers, and Oppenheimer.

This year’s snack table offered delectable treats such as donuts, chips, and cookies. But the snack tables weren’t limited to food; they were also stocked with candy ranging from Sour Patch Kids to KitKats and a wide variety of drinks. Additionally, the tables held free light up glasses for students to enjoy while rocking out in the gym.

On the dance floor, students danced to a wide variety of songs, from “Shake It Off” by Taylor Swift to “Project X” by Lil Uzi Vert. A different DJ from last year’s event brought refreshing variety to BT’s dance scene.

However, food and music were not all that BT’s second annual dance held in store for its guests. The gym housed both a classic and a 360 photo booth, both of which were incredibly popular and attracted long queues. The themed lighting, with orange and blue flashing lights, gave the photos a unique touch.

An exciting new edition to this year’s dance was the inclusion of games. The first game of the night was musical chairs, with students from all around the room gathering to watch as 24 students competed for the prize. Later, at 8 p.m., the mummy wrapping game was introduced, where students raced to wrap their partner in toilet paper. Throughout the night, students could also submit guesses for the number of candy corns in a skull container. Five winners were chosen: the highest guess, the lowest guess, and the three closest guesses. Winners of each game received $5-10 gift cards, courtesy of the PPO. A big thank you to the Student Council, PPO, teachers, custodians, and administration for making this wonderful night possible!
